Aidan Nesbitt, born on 5 February 1997 and hailing from Scotland, is a versatile midfield player with an affinity for central attacking midfield. Currently plying his trade with Falkirk, he wields his prowess on the pitch draped in the eminent number 10 jersey. At a height of 5ft 8in (1.74m) and weighing in at 10st 3lb (65kg), he brings a strong and resilient presence to the team's midfield dynamics.
According to the market analysts at Transfermarkt, his current estimated market value stands somewhere around €200k, or £170k in our own currency. As of now, he is bound by contract to Falkirk, set to wind up by the 31st of May 2025 with only three months remaining.
It was February 2016 when Nesbitt was loaned from Celtic in the Premiership to Partick Thistle in the Championship, both Scottish outfits. Over the span of his debut season with Thistle in 2015-16, he made seven first-team appearances in the domestic league.
Coming home to Scotland in August 2016, Nesbitt had a stint at Greenock Morton after being loaned again from Celtic. During the 2016-17 season at Morton, he made 30 league appearances, netting one goal.
Nesbitt departed Celtic completely in August 2017 to make the move to England with MK Dons in League Two, the fee for the move not disclosed. Throughout the 2017-18 season, he made 14 appearances for MK Dons, chipping in with two league goals.
January 2019 saw a move back to the Scottish Premiership for Nesbitt, wrapping up his time at MK Dons and heading to Dundee United. This was merely a stepping stone in the journey of his career. He made the switch to Greenock Morton in the Scottish Championship just six months later, in July 2019. Once again representing Morton, he replicated his previous season with the club, posting 30 appearances and one goal.
Finally, in July 2021, Nesbitt navigated his way to Falkirk. Across the 2022-23 season, he stood tall in 27 league matches, scoring twice. He increased his contribution during the 2024-25 season, participating in 31 league games for Falkirk and netting a pair of goals. In the current 2025-26 season, Nesbitt has already made two first-team appearances.
Nesbitt has also been a prominent figure in Scottish Cup and League Cup action. Whilst representing Falkirk, he made one start in 2024-25 Scottish Cup, and posted one start and three substitute appearances in the 2025-26 League Cup.
