Álex Valle, born on 25 April 2004 (age 22), is a Spanish left-back currently with Como. He came through the Barcelona system before Celtic took him in August 2024, a move that gave him an early taste of senior football away from Spain.
His Celtic spell forms the obvious point of interest here, though it should not be inflated beyond its size. Valle arrived from a club where technical schooling is assumed rather than admired, and at Celtic he was another young full-back being asked to turn promise into something usable.
His career has since moved on to Italy with Como. The 2025–26 season was his most productive league campaign, with one goal in 28 appearances, and he has made four Serie A appearances in 2026–27.
Valle’s market value is around £8.5m, according to Transfermarkt. At this stage, his career is still taking shape: Barcelona beginnings, a Celtic stint, and now regular work to chase in Serie A.
