Alfons Amade, born 12 November 1999 (age 26), is a Mozambique international midfielder with Dunfermline Athletic, where he wears the number 14 shirt. He is primarily used in central midfield and has remained a regular first-team presence in 2025-2026.
His most productive league season came in Belgium with Oostende in 2021-2022, when he scored two goals in 18 appearances. Since moving into the Scottish game with Dunfermline, his value has been less about goals and more about availability, structure and steady midfield work.
In 2025-2026, Amade has made 41 appearances in all competitions for Dunfermline without scoring, including 28 in the Championship. His form has been solid and consistent, which is not the most dramatic line on a CV, but it is usually the sort managers notice before anyone else does.
He has also remained involved with Mozambique, making eight World Cup qualifying appearances this season and scoring once. At this stage, his career is that of an established professional: a regular club midfielder, an active international, and a player still holding his place rather than drifting to the edge of the picture.
