Bailey Rice, born on 4 October 2006 (age 19), is a Scottish central defensive midfielder now with Kilmarnock. His name, though, is still tied most closely to Rangers, where his senior career began and where the bulk of his first-team football has come so far.
Across three seasons at Ibrox, Rice made 10 league appearances – a modest return, but enough to make Rangers the main reference point in his career to date. He was also part of a Rangers squad that won the League Cup, which remains the notable honour on his record.
Rice moved on to Kilmarnock, where he wears squad number 49. In 2025-26, he has made one League Cup appearance for the club, taking his Kilmarnock total to one senior appearance so far.
At this stage, Rice’s career is still more outline than body of work: a young Scottish midfielder with a Rangers grounding, a League Cup medal, and the next part of his senior football now being shaped at Kilmarnock.
