Callum Brittain (born 12 March 1997, age 29) is an English right-back at Middlesbrough, where he wears the No 2 shirt. His current market value is around £6m, according to Transfermarkt.
His most productive league season came at Blackburn Rovers in 2024-25, when he scored twice in 33 appearances. That is hardly a headline-grabbing return, but for a right-back it points to a player who was getting through regular work and offering something beyond basic defensive duty.
Brittain’s career has since taken him to Middlesbrough. In 2026-27, he has made eight Championship appearances, along with three in the League Cup and three in the Championship play-offs, giving him 14 appearances across all competitions for the club.
At this stage, Brittain’s profile is straightforward: an experienced English full-back, established at Championship level, with Blackburn and Middlesbrough forming the main recent chapters of his career.
