Callum Penman, born on the 5th of May 2007, is an 18-year-old defender hailing from Scotland. He predominantly plays as a left back for St Mirren, donning the number 28 jersey. Standing 5ft 9in tall (1.76m) and weighing in at 10st 3lb (65kg), Penman has contributed significantly to St Mirren's defence since his association with the club.
In July 2022, Penman made a significant career move by joining St Mirren, making his debut in the rather tumultuous landscape of the Scottish Premiership. However, his time at the club was not to be long-lasting. In February 2025, he found himself transferred, on loan, from St Mirren in the Premiership to Arbroath, placed in Scotland's League One. This transfer, although a step down in terms of league stature, speaks volume of Penman's flexibility and adaptability – attributes characteristic of a top-class defender.
In spite of his impending transfer, the season of 2024 - 2025 was marked by Penman's participation in the Scottish Cup representing St Mirren. Penman made a solitary start in the tournament, demonstrating his growing importance in the core of the team's defence. His performance no doubt etched a lasting impression and paved the way for his further contribution to Scottish Football.
