Camilo Durán, born on 10 February 2002 (age 24), is a Colombian striker who moved to Celtic in July 2026 from Qarabag for around £6m. He had been linked with Celtic earlier that month, and the deal followed a productive spell in Azerbaijan rather than arriving out of nowhere.
His best league return came at Qarabag in 2025–26, when he scored nine goals in 30 appearances. That was enough to put him on Celtic’s radar and, eventually, bring him to Glasgow.
Durán has started steadily at Celtic. In 2026–27, he has made seven league appearances and scored three league goals, while also adding one goal in two League Cup games and two goals in two Champions League qualifiers. He has also made one Europa League appearance. Across all competitions for Celtic, he has 12 appearances and six goals.
His current market value is around £1.5m, according to Transfermarkt. At this stage, his career is still taking shape: a Colombian forward developed abroad, productive at Qarabag, and now trying to turn a promising Celtic start into something more settled.
