Daniel Banjaqui

Daniel Banjaqui of Benfica was born in Lisboa, Portugal on 24 March 2008 (age 18).

Daniel Banjaqui, born on 24 March 2008 (age 18), is a Portuguese right-back whose senior career has been shaped almost entirely at Benfica. He wears squad number 58 and has been eased into first-team football rather than thrown at it, which is usually the more sensible route.

His Benfica league record stands at four appearances across two seasons. The 2025-26 campaign brought two league outings, and he added further senior involvement in 2026-27, including appearances in Liga Portugal and the Europa League.

Banjaqui remains a young Benfica player with a modest but clear senior footprint so far: a right-back gaining minutes at a club where the pathway is demanding and patience is not always abundant.
