Daniel Bragança, born on 27 May 1999 (age 27), is a Portuguese centre midfielder now with Torino. Compact at 5ft 7in (1.69m), he has built his game around tidy use of the ball rather than physical command, which is usually the more sensible route at that size.
His senior career has been shaped overwhelmingly by Sporting CP. Early loan spells away from the club helped give him the harder minutes young midfielders need, without becoming the main story. The main story was always his long stretch back at Sporting, where he made 107 league appearances and scored 14 league goals across five seasons.
His most productive league season came in 2025-26, when he scored six times in 14 appearances for Sporting. That was a useful return from midfield rather than a reinvention, and it underlined his value as a player able to contribute without needing the team built around him.
Bragança has since moved on to Torino, where he has made three Serie A appearances in 2026-27. His current market value is around £10m, according to Transfermarkt. His career to this point is largely a Sporting one, with Torino now the next test rather than the headline chapter.
