Daniel Svensson, born on 12 February 2002 (age 24), is a Swedish left-back now with Borussia Dortmund, where he wears squad number 24. His current market value is around £2.5m, according to Transfermarkt.
His career to this point is still shaped above all by FC Nordsjaelland. Across five seasons there he made 127 league appearances and scored five league goals, developing from a young Swedish prospect into a settled first-team player. His most productive league campaign came in 2022–23, when he scored twice in 29 appearances.
The move to Borussia Dortmund has put him in a different bracket of scrutiny, though the profile remains fairly plain: a reliable left-sided defender trying to establish himself at a bigger club. In 2026–27 he has made six appearances across all competitions for Dortmund, including four in the Bundesliga, one in the DFL-Supercup and one in the Champions League.
Svensson has also been involved with Sweden, with appearances in World Cup fixtures, European qualifying and the Nations League. His career is still centred on the long FC Nordsjaelland spell, but he remains part of the Dortmund first-team picture in 2026–27.
