Denil Castillo (born 24 March 2004, age 22) is an Ecuadorian defensive midfielder whose senior career has been shaped mainly at FC Midtjylland. He wears number 21 and has a current market value of around £3m, according to Transfermarkt.
Midtjylland has been the proper centre of his development rather than a passing stop. Across three league seasons he has made 57 appearances and scored five goals, with his most productive spell coming in 2025–26, when he scored four times in 26 league matches.
