Ege Tıknaz, born on 17 August 2004 (age 21), is a Turkish central midfielder with SC Braga. At an imposing 6ft 4in (1.93m), he brings obvious physical presence to the middle of the pitch, though his career is still at the stage where the detail matters more than the packaging.
His most productive league spell came at Rio Ave in 2024–25, when he scored four goals in 28 appearances. That remains the clearest marker of his senior development so far: a young midfielder getting regular football and adding a modest goal return, which is usually preferable to being discussed in vague terms as “promising”.
In 2025–26, Tıknaz made 10 league appearances for Besiktas before adding another 10 for SC Braga. His current market value is around £4.5m, according to Transfermarkt.
For now, his career is a developing one across Turkey and Portugal: Rio Ave gave him a productive league season, Besiktas offered another step, and Braga is his current platform.
