Elliot Watt

Elliot Watt of Samsunspor was born in Preston, England on 11 March 2000 (age 26).

Elliot Watt, born on 11 March 2000 (age 26), is a Scottish central defensive midfielder with Samsunspor. He wears the number 4 and is valued at around £1.5m by Transfermarkt.

His most productive league season came at Motherwell in 2025-26, when he scored six goals in 34 appearances. For a holding midfielder, that is a useful return rather than a decorative statistic, and it helped mark him out as more than just a screening presence in the middle of the pitch.

Watt is now in Turkey with Samsunspor, where he has made three Süper Lig appearances in 2026-27. His career to this point is that of a Scottish midfielder who built his standing at Motherwell before taking on a different test abroad.
