The Scottish striker, Gary Oliver, was born on 14 July 1995. Standing 1.78m tall, equivalent to 5ft 10in, and weighing 72kg (11st 4lb), he currently plays for Falkirk, donning the number 18 jersey.
He first entered the football scene in July 2013 when he joined Hearts in the Scottish Premiership, where he made 18 league match appearances over the course of three seasons. In his debut 2013 - 2014 season, Oliver made eight appearances. This was followed by nine appearances in the 2014 - 2015 season, during which he managed to score a goal. His final season at Hearts saw him make a solitary appearance in the 2015 - 2016 season.
Oliver spent a brief spell on loan at Stenhousemuir in the League One during the 2014 - 2015 season where he clocked up 11 appearances and two goals, before returning to Hearts for the remainder of his tenure.
Following his time at Hearts, Oliver transferred to Queen of the South in the League One for an unrevealed fee. There, he made 28 league match appearances and hit the back of the net six times in the 2015 - 2016 season.
In July 2016, the forward made a move to Greenock Morton in the Scottish Championship. Over two seasons, he made 49 appearances and scored nine goals in league matches.
After a respite of 3 years at Queen of the South where he chalked up another six goals and 28 appearances, Oliver returned to Greenock Morton in the Scottish Championship for the 2020 campaign. He repeated his previous stint's record, scoring nine goals in 49 appearances over two seasons.
Recently in July 2022, he embarked on a new journey with Falkirk in the Scottish Premiership. Over two seasons, he made 60 appearances and netted nine goals. However, he is yet to make an appearance in the current season 2025 - 2026.
Besides league matches, Oliver has also partaken in the League Cup 2025 - 2026 for Falkirk with two appearances as a substitute, and the Scottish Cup 2024 - 2025 for Falkirk with one appearance as a substitute.
As it currently stands, Oliver has three months remaining on his contract with Falkirk, set to expire on 31 May 2025.
