Gianluca Prestianni (born 31 January 2006, age 20) is an Argentine right winger whose senior career has been shaped almost entirely at Benfica. Small-framed at 5ft 5in (1.65m), he is the sort of wide player built more for sharp touches and quick changes of direction than for making life comfortable for full-backs in the air.
Benfica have been the main platform for his development. Across four league seasons, he has made 45 league appearances and scored eight goals, a steady enough base for a player still early in his career. His most productive spell has come in 2026-27, with five goals from seven league appearances.
That 2026-27 season has given his profile a bit more weight. He has scored five times in seven Liga Portugal matches, added three goals in three Europa League qualifying appearances, and also featured once in the Europa League. Across all competitions for Benfica that season, he has eight goals in 11 games.
Prestianni has also made four Club World Cup appearances this season. For now, though, the plain shape of his career is clear enough: an Argentine wide player developing at Benfica, with his best scoring run arriving in 2026-27.
