Gue-sung Cho, born on 25 January 1998 (age 28), is a South Korean striker with FC Midtjylland, where he wears the No 10 shirt. His current market value is around £3m, according to Transfermarkt.
Cho’s most productive league season came early, with FC Anyang in 2019, when he scored 14 goals in 33 appearances. That remains the cleanest statistical marker in his club career: a proper centre-forward return, not something requiring a search party to explain it.
At Midtjylland, he remains part of the first-team picture in 2026–27. He has made 14 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring three goals, including one in eight Superliga games and two in Conference League qualifiers. He has also featured in Europa League qualifiers, so his use has not been confined to domestic work.
He has continued to be involved with Korea Republic as well, making two World Cup appearances this season and four in Asian World Cup qualifying, with one goal. His career is that of an established international striker still getting regular club minutes, with Midtjylland currently the main stage.
