Jakob Breum, born on 17 November 2003 (age 22), is a Danish left winger now with Saint-Etienne, where he wears the number 10 shirt. His current market value is around £4.5m, according to Transfermarkt.
The main work of his career so far came at Go Ahead Eagles. Across three league seasons there, Breum made 86 appearances and scored 19 goals, with 2024-25 his clearest attacking season: 10 goals in 26 league matches. That spell is the one that gives his profile its substance, rather than the usual scatter of early-career footnotes.
Breum was linked with Celtic in July 2025 and again in May 2026. The interest was reported as a possible incoming move, but the relevant fact here is simple enough: Celtic have had him on the rumour pages, not on the team sheet.
At Saint-Etienne in 2026-27, he has made six Ligue 2 appearances and scored two goals. His career to this point is still a developing one, built largely on a productive period with Go Ahead Eagles and now continuing in France.
