Jean Butez is a French goalkeeper, born on 8 June 1995 (age 31), currently with Como, where he wears the number one shirt.

His senior career includes a spell at Royal Excel Mouscron, where he made eight league appearances in 2017-18. It was a modest foothold, but enough to place him on the path from French development football into regular first-team work abroad.

At Como in 2026-27, Butez has made four Serie A appearances and one in the Champions League, giving him five appearances across all competitions. His current market value is around £3m, according to Transfermarkt.
