Jeremy Bokila, born on 14 November 1988 in DR Congo, now age 36, occupies the position of a forward at Livingston, primarily playing as a striker. Standing at 6 feet 1 inch (1.87m) tall and weighing 12 stone 3 pounds (78kg), the sturdy front-man dons the number 18 jersey for the Scottish side. According to Transfermarkt, Bokila's current market value is estimated to be around £90k
Bokila began his professional career in the 2007-2008 season at AGOVV Apeldoorn in Netherlands, making 32 appearances whilst netting seven goals. He followed this up with a more successful 2008-2009 season at the same club, where he made 33 appearances and scored 14 goals. In the 2009-2010 season, he made 30 appearances and added another ten goals to his tally.
In the 2010-2011 season, Bokila made a move to Zulte Waregem in Belgium, where he made 18 appearances with two goals. In the following season (2011-2012), he had a brief stint at the same club, making only two appearances before moving over to Sparta Rotterdam in Netherlands, where he made 28 appearances and scored 14 goals.
In 2013-2014, Bokila transferred to Akhmat Grozny in Russia. Over the course of two seasons, he scored four goals in 36 appearances. Bokila then moved far afield in 2015 to Guangzhou City in China, making 13 appearances and scoring four goals. The end of that year saw Bokila transfer to Eskişehirspor in Turkey, where he made 13 appearances and managed only one goal.
After a stint at Akhisar Belediyespor in Turkey, where he made 20 appearances between 2016-2019 and scored four goals, Bokila moved back to the Netherlands. Representing Willem II, he netted 22 goals in 95 appearances over the course of three seasons (2022-2025).
Currently, in the 2025-2026 season, Bokila graces the pitch for Livingston in Scotland's top-tier football division. So far, he has made two appearances and scored one goal. A somewhat unadventurous tally for a player with a journeyman-like career, perhaps Livingston Football Club will provide a chance for a late resurgence.
