Joe Newell was born on the 15 March 1993 in England. Now 32, the English midfielder primarily plays in the heart of midfield for Hibernian. Newell played an even more integral role in the team in the 2022 - 2023 season, featuring in 34 league games with one goal to his name. In the following 2023 - 2024 season, Newell managed to register two goals from his 37 league appearances. In the current 2024 - 2025 season, he has already made 16 first team appearances and bagged two league goals for Hibernian.
