Jordan Obita, born on 8 December 1993 in England, currently plies his trade for Hibernian. Standing at 5ft 10in (1.8m) tall and weight of 11st 6lb (73kg), his primary position is at left back and he wears the number 21 jersey.
His professional career began in July 2010, when he joined League One's Reading. Over several seasons, Obita made his mark with consistent performances. He made 34 appearances in his most active season (2013 - 2014), even managing to score a goal. He repeated the feat in the 2016 - 2017 and 2019 - 2020 seasons where he scored two goals in each and made 37 and 21 appearances respectively.
In the interim, he had stints on loan with Barnet, Gillingham, Portsmouth, and Oldham Athletic. Notably, his debut season with Barnet in 2011-2012 saw him make five appearances, while his loan period at Gillingham was punctuated with three goals in six appearances. Meanwhile, Portsmouth and Oldham Athletic both benefited from Obita's talents with eight appearances apiece.

In July 2023, Obita crossed borders to join Scotland's Premiership side Hibernian. The defender has made significant contributions to the side, amassing a total of 67 appearances over the 2023 - 2024 and 2024 - 2025 seasons, even scoring a goal in his debut season. As part of Hibernian's cup campaigns, Obita has also featured in both the League Cup (2024 - 2025) with four starts and one substitute appearance, and the Scottish Cup (2024 - 2025) with two substitute appearances.
