Josh Campbell, born 6 May 2000 (age 26), is a Scottish central midfielder whose career has been shaped mainly by Hibernian. Before his long run at Easter Road took hold, early loan football gave him the senior grounding that tends to matter more than academy promise.
At Hibs, Campbell became a steady and productive presence rather than just another squad midfielder. Across six seasons he made 142 league appearances and scored 20 league goals. His best attacking return came in 2022-23, when he scored eight league goals in 36 appearances, a useful haul from midfield and a fair reflection of his willingness to get beyond the ball.
In 2026-27 he made one league appearance for Hibernian, scoring once, before moving on to St Johnstone, where he made two league appearances. His career to this point is essentially a Hibernian one, shaped by early loan experience and then by a sustained spell as a regular at Easter Road.
