Josip Misic (born 28 June 1994, age 32) is a Croatian central defensive midfielder with Dinamo Zagreb, valued at around £2m by Transfermarkt. His early career included loan spells that gave him senior football before he settled into more demanding first-team roles.
His most productive league season came at PAOK in 2019-20, when he scored five goals in 26 appearances. For a midfielder more often used to protect the middle of the pitch than decorate it, that was a useful return rather than a reinvention.
At Dinamo Zagreb, Misic has continued as an established first-team midfielder. In 2026-27 he has made six league appearances, along with six in Champions League qualifying, where he scored once, and one in the Europa League. Across all competitions for Dinamo this season, he has 13 appearances and one goal.
He has also represented Croatia this season, making two Nations League appearances. His career has been a steady one: development through loans, a productive spell at PAOK, and regular club football with Dinamo Zagreb.
