Kasper Høgh, born 6 December 2000 (age 25), is a Danish striker who joined Celtic in July 2026 from Bodo Glimt for around £11m. He had been linked with Celtic in January and May that year before the move was completed.
His strongest league season came at Bodo Glimt in 2025, when he scored 17 goals in 28 appearances. That return did the obvious work for his reputation: a centre-forward with enough output to draw attention beyond Norway, without needing much embroidery around it.
At Celtic, Høgh has started sharply enough in the early part of 2026-27. He has made nine appearances across all competitions, scoring three goals, with all three coming in four league matches. He has also featured in the League Cup, Champions League qualifiers and the Europa League.
He has also been involved with Denmark this season, making appearances in World Cup qualifying and the Nations League, and scoring once in qualifying. His current market value is around £10m, according to Transfermarkt.
Høgh’s career to this point is still relatively compact: a productive spell at Bodo Glimt, a sizeable move to Celtic, and early signs of settling into the job. The next part is the less tidy bit – turning a promising start into a proper body of work.
