Kevin Kelsy, born on 27 July 2004 (age 22), is a Venezuelan striker now with Rangers. A towering 6ft 4in (1.93m) forward, he brings obvious physical presence, though the useful question is usually what he does with it.
His strongest league return so far came with Portland Timbers in 2026, when he scored nine goals in 20 appearances. That remains the clearest marker of his senior career to date: a developing centre-forward finding end product in a proper run of matches.
At Rangers in 2026-27, Kelsy has made three league appearances and one League Cup appearance, scoring in that cup outing. Across all competitions for the club, he stands at four appearances and one goal.
Kelsy’s career is still at an early stage, moving from a productive spell at Portland to a test in Scottish football with Rangers. For now, he is a young, physically imposing striker with enough goals behind him to be worth watching, but with most of the argument still to be made.
