Koni De Winter is a Belgian central defender, born on 12 June 2002 (age 24), who plays for AC Milan. A commanding 6ft 3in (1.91m), he wears the No.5 shirt and is valued at around £19.5m by Transfermarkt.
His strongest league return came at Genoa in 2024-25, when he scored three times in 25 appearances. For a centre-half, that is useful rather than spectacular, which is usually the right register for this sort of thing.
At AC Milan in 2026-27, De Winter has made five Serie A appearances, along with one in the Supercoppa and one in the Europa League, taking him to seven appearances in all competitions for the club. His career is still settling into shape, but the path is clear enough: a Belgian defender who built himself up at Genoa and is now trying to establish himself at a heavier club.
