Marcus Fraser, born on the 23rd of June in 1994 (now aged 31), is a Scottish defender renowned for his command in centre back roles. At present, he is contracted to St Mirren, donning the number 22 jersey. Standing at 6ft (about 1.84m) and weighing in at 12st 12lb (approx. 82kg), Fraser presents an imposing figure on the pitch.
In July 2012, a promising Fraser joined Celtic in the Scottish Premiership as a trainee. During his inaugural season (2012 - 2013), Fraser marked his debut with a single first-team appearance in the league.
After spending more than two seasons at Celtic Park, Fraser found himself temporarily dispatched to Cowdenbeath in the Lowland League in September 2014. During his short spell in the 2014 - 2015 season with the Blue Brazil, Fraser had 11 first-team appearances in league matches.
Permanently waving goodbye to the Parkhead crowd in January 2015, Fraser relocated to Ross County in the Scottish Championship. In the 2019 - 2020 season, Fraser found the back of the net once again in one of his 26 league appearances.
July 2020 marked the end of Fraser's journey with Ross County as he transferred to St Mirren in the Premiership. His debut 2020 - 2021 season saw Fraser grace the pitch 37 times, netting a goal in the process. His performance remained steady in subsequent years making 36 first team appearances in the 2021 - 2022 season, 34 in 2022 - 2023, 38 in 2023 - 2024, and 38 again in the 2024 - 2025 season. In both 2020 - 2021 and 2023 - 2024 seasons, Fraser chipped in with a crucial league goal. In the current 2025 - 2026 season at St Mirren, Fraser has already made 13 first team appearances, once more finding the target on one occasion.
