Martin Boyle, born on 25 April 1993 (age 33), is an Australian right winger whose career has been shaped far more by Hibernian than by anywhere else. He has been around Easter Road long enough for the usual neat labels to feel a bit thin: winger, scorer, outlet, nuisance – depending on the week.
His early senior development included an important spell at Montrose, where the 2011–12 season stands out sharply. He scored 22 league goals in 36 appearances, a return that gave substance to the pace and directness that would later become familiar at Hibs.
Hibernian has been the main body of the work. Across 13 seasons he has made 325 league appearances and scored 86 league goals for the club, playing primarily from the right and carrying the No 10 shirt.
