Miguel Román

Miguel Román of Celta Vigo was born in Vigo, Spain on 26 December 2002 (age 23).

Miguel Román, born on 26 December 2002 (age 23), is a Spanish central midfielder whose senior career has been shaped almost entirely at Celta Vigo. Wearing the No 8, he has built his first proper body of work there rather than through a trail of loans and short stops.

Across two league seasons with Celta, Román has made 26 league appearances and scored twice. His busiest league campaign came in 2025-26, when he played 19 times and scored one goal, giving him a firmer place in the squad without making the story bigger than it is.

In 2026-27, he has added seven LaLiga appearances and one goal, along with outings in the Copa del Rey and Europa League. His career so far is a straightforward Celta Vigo one: a Spanish midfielder establishing himself through regular senior minutes at the club that has carried his development.
