Nicky Devlin, born on 17 October 1993 (age 32), is a Scottish right-back with Aberdeen, where he wears squad number 2. His early route took in youth football at Dumbarton and Motherwell, but the useful part was the first-team borrowing: loan spells at Dumbarton and Stenhousemuir gave him proper senior football before his career had settled into any obvious pattern.
Stenhousemuir then gave him a permanent platform, and Ayr United was the next step. From there he moved to Walsall in 2017, a straight move into English lower-league football, before returning to Scotland with Livingston in 2019.
Devlin established himself again in the Premiership at Livingston and joined Aberdeen from there in 2023. His most productive league season came at Pittodrie in 2024–25, when he scored four goals in 31 appearances.
In 2026–27, he has made one League Cup appearance and two in the Scottish Cup for Aberdeen. Transfermarkt values him at around £383,000.
His career has been built through early loans, lower-league football, a spell in England and steady Scottish Premiership service with Livingston and Aberdeen.
