Odhrán Casey, born on 9 April 2002 (age 24), is a Northern Irish central defender now with Shelbourne. His early senior football included loan football, useful enough in the usual unglamorous way for a young defender learning the habits of the job.
The main body of his career so far came at Cliftonville. Across four seasons he made 96 league appearances and scored five league goals, a proper run of football rather than a passing stop. His busiest and most productive league campaign came in 2023-24, when he scored three times in 33 appearances.
Casey has since moved on to Shelbourne, where in 2026 he has made 11 Premier Division appearances and three more in Conference League qualifiers, taking him to 14 appearances overall. It leaves a clear shape to his career at this stage: developed through early senior minutes, established at Cliftonville, and now testing himself with Shelbourne.
