Ryan Mullen (born 18 May 2001, age 25) is a Scottish goalkeeper whose early senior path included a brief Celtic connection before his career took shape elsewhere.
He joined Celtic from Cove Rangers in October 2020, then left in September 2022 for Clyde. His first league involvement after that move came at Clyde in 2022-23, when he made three league appearances.
Greenock Morton has been the substantial spell of his career so far. Across two seasons at Cappielow, Mullen made 47 league appearances, giving him the run of football that has defined his senior record more than the earlier stops.
He later moved on to St Mirren. In 2025-26, he has made two league appearances and one Scottish Cup appearance for the Paisley club, taking him to three appearances in all competitions for St Mirren.
Mullen’s career is not really a Celtic story beyond that early spell, but the route is clear enough: Cove Rangers to Celtic, Clyde after that, a meaningful period at Morton, and then St Mirren.
