Callum O'Dowda, born on 23 April 1995 (age 31), is an Irish footballer now used primarily at left-back by Ferencvaros. Earlier in his career he was more productive higher up the pitch, most notably at Oxford United in 2015–16, when he scored eight league goals in 38 appearances.
That Oxford season remains the clearest attacking marker in his career. Since then, his game has shifted into a more functional wide role, with Ferencvaros using him on the left side of defence rather than as a regular source of goals.
In 2026–27, O'Dowda has made four Nemzeti Bajnokság I appearances for Ferencvaros. He has also played five times in Europa League qualifiers, scoring once, and made one Europa League appearance. Across all competitions for the club that season, he has 10 appearances and one goal.
His career has run from a productive spell at Oxford United to a more settled, positionally disciplined role at Ferencvaros. It is a solid professional path, built more on usefulness and adaptation than on headline noise.
