Franko Kovačević

Franko Kovačević of Ferencvaros was born in Koprivnica, Croatia on 8 August 1999 (age 27).

Franko Kovačević, born 8 August 1999 (age 27), is a Croatian striker now with Ferencvaros. His most productive league spell came at Celje in 2025-26, when he scored 11 goals in 14 appearances, the sort of return that tends to make clubs look twice.

He was linked with a move to Celtic in January 2026, though that remains a simple transfer link rather than a completed deal. His market value is around £1m, according to Transfermarkt.

At Ferencvaros in 2026-27, Kovačević has made two league appearances in the Nemzeti Bajnokság I. His form this season has been solid and consistent, with his career still shaped more by recent output than by any long-established profile at the top end of the game.
