Lukas Jungwirth, born on 30 April 2004 (age 22), is an Austrian goalkeeper whose senior career has been shaped overwhelmingly at LASK. An imposing 6ft 3in (1.90m) presence, he wears the number 1 shirt and has built his early professional record there rather than through a run of moves.
His first senior steps came with LASK Juniors OÖ, where he made one league appearance in 2019-20. The main body of his work, though, has been with LASK: 42 league appearances across three seasons, a solid enough base for a young goalkeeper still working through the less forgiving part of the job.
In 2026-27, Jungwirth has made seven Bundesliga appearances, along with two in Champions League qualifying and one in the Champions League. That gives him 10 appearances for LASK in all competitions so far this season.
Jungwirth’s career to this point is a LASK career above all else: a tall Austrian goalkeeper, established in their first-team picture, with his next stage likely to be judged by how securely he holds that place.
